EL SEGUNDO, CA June 8, 2009 - Los Angeles Dodgers Hitting Coach and former New York Yankee legend Don Mattingly will be at Dicks Sporting Goods in El Segundo, CA to share his secrets for successful batting with a group of over 150 youngsters from the El Segundo and Manhattan Beach Little Leagues. The former American League MVP and Batting Champion will walk the group through his own hitting philosophy, fundamentals for success and talk about his special line of V-Grip(tm) bats designed to improve hitting ability by guaranteeing proper bat grip.

Until the patented V-Grip(tm) design, gripping a bat properly was one of the most difficult hitting fundamentals to learn. With the patented V-Grip technology, Mattingly will demonstrate how easy this obstacle is to overcome.
