Mattingly sponsors Professional Fastpitch Tour athlete Tina Boutelle


Shelton, CT - May 5, 2007. Mattingly is pleased to announce its sponsorship of one of the rising stars of the PFX Tour-Professional Fastpitch Xtreme Tour. Tina Boutelle was the 2006 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year and led the University of Texas to yet another NCAA Division I World Series appearance. A 5'5" powerhouse, Boutelle had an astonishing .500 batting average during the 2006 NCAA Super Regionals and helped lead the Longhorns to the WCWS in 2006.

We are excited to have such a talented athlete representing Mattingly says Skip Shaw, President of Matting. She will put us on the map as a leading bat manufacturer for Fastpitch softball. Tina will represent Mattingly during the PFX tour and exclusively use the BEAST V-Grip 100% composite bat.
